Cathy was very helpful! She was very understanding and supportive and helped me to put my worries into perspective when I was separated from my ex-husband. We could not see eye to eye when he left me and she assisted us both to be able to talk through problems and finalize what was necessary for the divorce. Many years ago I was having a serious difficulty in my marriage. Unfortunately I was not able to face our issues and instead lied to my wife and pretended everything was fine. After two years of mutual suffering, I decided to abandon the marriage without warning. I packed up all my things while my wife was at work and left intending to never see her again. While I was on the road the next day, I had a conversation with Cathy about how I would move forward with my life. She encouraged me to come back and address the issues. My wife and I continued to live separately but we engaged in several weeks of therapeutic sessions with Cathy as a mediator between us. We were able to release the anger, talk through our issues and make rational decisions for moving forward. We came to terms with the realization that while we cared deeply for one another, we were not a good match. Subsequently, we divorced and moved on to healthier relationships. However, we remain close friends and supportive of one another. I am eternally grateful to Cathy for her counsel and I know that none of this would have been possible without her help.
